• Work alongside domain experts to frame and solve key industrial problems with modern data science, simulation and machine learning techniques
• Work on building models to inform industrial decarbonisation strategies and accelerating major energy project development.
• Contribute to the development of bespoke customer software, digital twins and other tools.
• Develop compatible software and cloud skills to deploy data science solutions in productionised software packages.
• Work with Ada Mode's civil nuclear experts to support key clients with engineering and project delivery challenges.
• Attend client offices and establish working relationships within client organisations.
BSc and ideally an MSc/MEng or PhD in quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, maths, operational research, data science, physics, AI or machine learning.
• Knowledge and some experience of implementing machine learning solutions
• Knowledge and experience of statistical modelling and inference techniques
• Good grasp of data science project workflow from problem framing to delivery
• Strong programming skills in Python knowledge of common data analysis, visualisation, and machine learning libraries
• Application of machine learning to unstructured data such as audio, images/video and natural language
• Applications of your work in an industrial setting, particularly civil nuclear power
• Experience in developing process or system simulations
• Python knowledge or experience for various applications or projects
• Other computer science skills or experience such as containerisation, CI/CD, cloud computing etc.
• Excellent communication skills

• £30k-£40k PA (depending on experience) and competitive pension
